Hi.

Is it possible, using the teltonika rut240 or similar, to connect a device using wifi which then conmects to a mobile network to allow communication remotely?

Thanks

Hello,

If I understand correctly, you are planning to insert a SIM card into RUT240, and share the internet via WiFi to the end devices? If yes then RUT240 is capable of this use case. Please share more details about your use case, if I have misunderstood your question.

Regards.

Hi

Thank you for your quick reply.

Yes that is correct.

Basically there is a computer or outstation and devices. I want to communicate between them. The GSM signal is low at the device so I thought I could put the rut240 in a position for better signal and have a WiFi connection between the two.

Now the device is 2G or wired. Not WiFi.

So u think the Comms will need to go GSM to rut240 then WiFi out then WiFi in then wired out to device

Complicated I know. But it's a one off fix.
