Hello,

According to the documentation the RUTX11 has a 256 MB SPI flash memory used as follows:

root@lgrrutx:~# cat /proc/mtd
dev: size erasesize name
mtd0: 00040000 00010000 "0:SBL1"
mtd1: 00020000 00010000 "0:MIBIB"
mtd2: 00020000 00010000 "0:BOOTCONFIG"
mtd3: 00020000 00010000 "0:BOOTCONFIG1"
mtd4: 00060000 00010000 "0:QSEE"
mtd5: 00060000 00010000 "0:QSEE_1"
mtd6: 00010000 00010000 "0:CDT"
mtd7: 00010000 00010000 "0:CDT_1"
mtd8: 00010000 00010000 "0:DDRPARAMS"
mtd9: 00010000 00010000 "0:APPSBLENV"
mtd10: 000a0000 00010000 "0:APPSBL"
mtd11: 000a0000 00010000 "0:APPSBL_1"
mtd12: 00010000 00010000 "0:ART"
mtd13: 00010000 00010000 "0:CONFIG"
mtd14: 00010000 00010000 "0:CONFIG_RW"
mtd15: 00090000 00010000 "0:EVENTSLOG"
mtd16: 08000000 00020000 "rootfs"
mtd17: 08000000 00020000 "rootfs_1"
mtd18: 00345000 0001f000 "kernel"
mtd19: 00fbe000 0001f000 "ubi_rootfs"
mtd20: 063a9000 0001f000 "rootfs_data"

That's about 40MB reserved the rest is free. Would it be difficult to add a partition to save a partial memory dump in case of a kernel panic ? Kernel oopses can be logged, crashes cannot.

Regards,

While being at it, add a crash_syslog partition also.
