I want to set up TRB142 as RS232 Modem and use AT-command (Docklight) to dial up another TRB142 modem.

Fw: TRB1_R_00.02.06.1

We use dial-up with Moxa GPRS modem, but they are end-of-sale and we now want to try 4G mobile modem.

I have enabled RS232 in both ends and I'm able to dial in by ATD.

I get "RING" in remote end, but when answer (ATA or ATS0=1) the modems respond with "NO CARRIER" at both ends.

Any ideas?

Hello,

Regarding this issue of yours, I would like you to send a copy of a screenshot of what commands are you executing in Docklight.

Also maybe these links will help for the ATD and ATA commands:

Thanks,

There's a connecting, but I do not get respons "CONNECT" and modems do not get into data mode, still staying in command mode.

Hello,

Could you explain to me the scenario you want to implement for this?

From what I understand you want to dial a number and once the call is received on the other end it will connect to data mode?

Correct.

I want to dial a number and as soon remote end answer I want data to be transferred.

Remote end will be in auto answer, S0=1
Remote end will use hw handshake (RTS/CTS) and when answer modem put CTS high. Data from remote end will be transferred to local end.
