I was wondering if there are any known issues involving mobile data service "hanging"  on Teltonika RUT955. There were some cases that I was connecting to a mobile network with not so great signal. In some cases the signal was lost and then aquired again. But sometimes it happens that the mobile data service is not automatically connecting to the network when the signal is returned. It just stays in a disconnected state and after rebooting of the device the connection is established again.

I know that Teltonika has an optional "Reboot" service to restart the device sith some conditions but I think this is not really a solution. Any advice on this matter would be appreciated.

Are there any ideas how to debug this issue?

Hi,

Thank you for the suggestion, I think we will consider your suggestion in improving our firmware in later release. In the meantime had you try using ping reboot as a solution?
