Hi all,

I have a RUT900 router which has a firmware version RUT9XX_R_00.01.888 dated 2015-12-08, 10:01:32, with a kernel vesion 3.10.36.
In the configuration console, the System/firmware option says : no update available, even if I press "check for updates".

I had a look at the download section of your website, and I downloaded the latest version, but when I tried to perform an upgrade from file, it told me : not enough memory, available 9 MB (about) required 12 MB.
How can I update this product?

I tried selecting the oldest version available on the website (RUT9XX_R_00.03.832 | 2017.10.25) but got the same message again:

It appears that you try to flash an image that does not fit into the flash memory, please verifythe image file!

  • Taille: 10.19 MB (9.44 MB available)
  • Note: All configuration files will be erased.

Hello,

I would like to suggest to reset your device to the factory default configuration and try to update the firmware via the bootloader menu: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUT9xx_Firmware_via_The_Bootloader_Menu

Regards.

Hi,

I did as you said and it worked fine! i could update the firmware, and then, I got access to also update the bootloader. Now, I have a brand new RUT900... that is more than 7 years old.

Thank you very much.
