Configuration:

- WAN via mobile connection only - no fail over

- 1 Device via LAN, No Wifi

- OpenVPN-Connection - with automatic start up

Situation

- works normally

- after some time (we suppose 24 hours) "something" in the networks happens, and the connection to the WAN is not possible anymore

- the status shows a mobile connection, but it is not associated with the WAN anymore

- reconnecting the mobile connection repairs the situation.

Any idea how to fix it or to repair it automatically?

Hi,

I had similar issues.

Try rolling back to firmware version 1.13.3. Your config will be reset!

Thanks for the hint.

But it is not a solution, if you have to reconfigure  44 devices which are already installed at different locations.

Hello, 

Could you try upgrading to the latest firmware available? This one is the latest firmware available: RUT2XX_R_00.01.14.1

Bad preparation by the colleagues - firmware is still 1.13.1.

Hi !

I have a similar problem with the rutx12.

I did the setup wizzard in basic, the sim1 is connected but no connection to websites.

Are there a few things in addition to be configured?

Hello Azwicker,

Regarding your issue could you try disabling the Auto APN functionality of the device and input the APN of your Mobile ISP provider manually and check if there is connectivity to it once it's done.
