As written in the title my issue is just like the many others that I get the "SIM CARD STATUS NOT INSERTED" error although the SIM is inserted properly. The cards works well in a mobile device, the firmware of the RUT240 is 00.01.14. Methods like inserting the card and rebooting or restarting connection or reconnect to operator didn't work either.

Hi,

Please try different SIM cards.

If the issue still persists if you change the SIM to another operator - please return the device to the reseller as the hardware is most likely faulty.

We have around 60 units and have experienced the same thing. We've found if you place some paper behind the sim it's OK. Seems like a physical design flaw. Does Teltonica have a solution for this. Oh and the sim is inserted correctly
