Hello,

i can't find Information about it: how are the parameter of AVL rules connected (bolean - AND -OR)?

Although the car, where RUTX11 and GPS antenna is installed, is parking, a lot of points are recorded and sent to the server. The gps-signal isn't very stable, or the threshold of fix parameters (count of satellites, gps accuracy) is set to low (any way of changing that?). So the track looks like spaghetti on the table ;).

I would expect exactly one point ... updated only when the gar has moved minimum X meters AND after time period Y AND ...

So how are the parameters ment and joined?

Greetings

Hello,

Regarding the issue you are having kindly check these links maybe it will help:

RUTX11 GPS - Teltonika Networks Wiki (teltonika-networks.com)
RUTX11 GPS - Teltonika Networks Wiki (teltonika-networks.com)

Mainly you are going to change the settings in the Main Rule not in the secondary rule.

Hello Mellow,

i know the manual. But this says NOTHING.

How are the parameters connected logically?

Has the position to be changed more than X meters AND the angle changed Y degrees AND the time passed Z seconds?

Or is it the same with OR instead of AND or a mix ?

And how about an extra parameter called GPS accuracy? The router should now (but it is not displayed anywhere!) how many satellites are fixed and how many meters position error is possible. Every smartphone has a display of this parameter. So this could be an extra Parameter for deciding , if the GPS Data are good enough and should be send to an AVL server.

Hello,

Regarding your question on how the rule is implemented it is in OR logic if one of the rules is met it will send the data.

For the AVL packet sent by RUTX11, you can check this GPS protocol of RUT955 which is the same as RUTX11
RUT955 GPS Protocols - Teltonika Networks Wiki (teltonika-networks.com)

The GPS Accuracy data is not shown in the AVL packet mainly AVL packet contains this:

X Longitude
Y Latitude
Altitude In meters above sea level
Angle In degrees, 0 is north, increasing clock-wise
Satellites Number of visible satellites
Speed In km/h. 0x0000 if GPS data is invalid

Hope it helps.

Allthough accuracy is not part of sent avl data, it is known in the gps module and may be checked. so ther could/should be a parameter like this:

- AVL DATA shall only be sent or stored, if acuracy is better than X meters.

Hello,

Then for this request of yours, there would be some additional changes with the standard firmware which requires custom development. But I will inform HQ about this and put it on the nice to have a list. But regarding if we will implement this kind of feature it's not guarranted.
