Hi There!

We are a camera IoT business with over 1000 RUT240 and more than 600 units of RUT950 deployed in remote fields connected to our SBC as 4G modem. Over 4 years we have used your products

2 years ago we had problem of RUT240 showing 'sim not inserted' in middle of operation. This specific unit has been working in remote field for 4 months untouched and suddenly we had this problem. Since then we stated applying small piece of pvc electrical tape inside sim tray which seemed to fix the problem at the time. But in past few weeks we are getting the same problem (sim not inserted) randomly in RUT950 units which have been working fine for months (yes these have PVC tape on sim trey too)

Have you faced similar problem? Is there any solution?

Hi,

There are devices that come up faulty in detecting the SIM cards. These devices could be replaced by RMA process, please return the device to the reseller.
