Hi,

After being away for a few weeks I noticed that I didn’t get connection anymore from my LAN port (using mobile connection) while wifi was working fine. After having tried a firmware update and factory reset and still having the same problem I changed the setting to make the WAN port function as a LAN port - and it worked! However, still no connection through the regular LAN port. Can I conclude that my LAN port is dead or is there any setting that might explain this behavior?

Thanks!

Hello,

Thank you for the provided information.

When you plug a Ethernet cable to RUT240 LAN port 1, does LAN LED are active? Does it indicate physical connection? What error, do you see on your PC NIC (network interface card) when you connect to RUT240 LAN port?

Please, let me know.

Best regards,

Hi,

No LED indication on either side unfortunately (RUT240 LAN port 1 or NIC port).

Thank you for your answer.

It seems that you might have a faulty device, so I strongly recommend following this website in order to try and return device to RMA: https://teltonika-networks.com/warranty-repair/

I see, thanks. I’ll do that.

The weird thing is that it worked fine for a bit over a year. Quite intense usage but still.
