Question

Hi All,

Just wondering if it's possible to restrict data consumption during specific times of the day on the RUT240 by either the Profile Configurations & Profile Scheduler combined? Or by any other method? (MAC address, general timer etc)?
I have a client who wants to restrict devices accessing data from 10pm - 8am.

Any suggestions?

Hello,

I would like to suggest creating an additional profile with mobile WAN turned off and utilize the Profile scheduler feature. That would be the easiest solution. More about profile scheduler: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUT240_Profiles

I have found the section where I can create a profile, and I can configure the schedule for it.
But how do I actually setup the restrictions for that particular profile?
I haven't been able to find that.

Hi,

There is no such thing as restrictions. You will need to only switch your router to a second profile and once you logged as the second profile, turn off mobile WAN (in the default profile it remains ON, but all the changes you make while using a second profile, only apply to it).
