Hi,

I have a RUT360 running the latest firmware RUT36X_R_00.07.00

For some reason the device only connects using Single Band. Signal is good and the same SIM in a different device (same location) connects using CA no problem.

Am I missing something in the setup? I've tried band locking to the bands used by the carrier (Smarty) but it makes no difference.

Or is this to do with the CA bands used by Smarty - B20, B3 and B1?

RUT360 Supports

2xCA:

B1+B1/B5/B8/B20/B28
B3+B3/B5/B7/B8/B20/B28
B7+B5/B7/B8/B20/B28
B20+B322
B38+B38
B40+B40
B41+B41

So I would imagine B1+ B20 or B3 + B20 should work. I know all three are available to the router via my band locking experiments but it tends to use B1 or B3.

Is there anyway of getting more information out of the router about its mobile connection?

Details below.

Operator SMARTY
Operator state registered (home)
Cell ID 2767177
Data connection state Connected
Connection type 4G (LTE)
Signal strength -63
Carrier Aggregation Single
Connected band LTE BAND 1
RSRP -96
RSRQ -15.0
SINR

Thanks.

Hello,

Would you mind to check what command gsmctl -A AT+QCAINFO returns in the CLI?

Regards.

I would like to ask if you could check your modem firmware version by navigating System > Firmware (update if there is new version), or check with gsmctl -y

root@Teltonika-RUT360:~# gsmctl -y

Hi , I’m having the same issue.

My provider SIM supports LTE Aggregation ( tested in a Huawei modem ) - but using the RTE360 I only get a single link.

This is an LTE Cat 6 capable device no ?

Hi,

No luck with this. I've also installed the latest firmware which came out a few weeks ago.

I have an external aerial coming so will see if that makes any difference. I'm not hopeful as I can see the mobile mast from the window but you never know.

Ok so tested with an external aerial and still no CA.

Perhaps it's network related but I'm now wondering if there is some issue with the device and CA.
