Hello,

I can't use opkg update from CLI or SSH. Everytime I start opkg update it says: operation not permitted.

I'm logged in as root, opened up the firewall and made sure that the device is connected to WAN. It is otherwise reset to factory defaults.

When I try to ping 8.8.8.8 from CLI it does not receive any response.

To me it seems like there are no incoming packages at all which seems true when looking at the Network Status. (158 Bytes TX, 0 Bytes RX)

What could be possible points of failure here?

Thank you very much in advance and best regards

Hello,

I have just tried opkg update on my own device and it worked instantly. It seems that your device cannot reach servers, could you try to ping any website (for example, ping 8.8.8.8) to be sure that you can reach the internet.

Regards.
