Hi,

How do you configurate RUT950 with this setup?

We have devices with static IP adresses as shown (192.168.100.0/24) and they are connected to a switch.

We have connected our RUT950 with WAN port to the switch via DHCP (192.168.1.0/24).

How can we configurate the RUT950 so we can connect to 192.168.100.0/24  the through WAN port?

*note it will not be possible for us to connect the devices direct to the LAN port on the RUT950. We use VPN to connect to the router remote and then use Port forwarding to see the LAN network on the RUT950.

Hello,

Unfortunately, I do not quite understand what you are trying to achieve. Do you want the WAN port to work as a LAN? If so, read the information on the link below:

Best regards.

Hi,

The issue we have is that we can not connect to the devices that have static IP adress 192.168.100.0/24 because we have connected the RUT950 to the switch via WAN and the WAN network is set on DHCP and recive ip 192.168.1.0/24 from the DHCP server.

We want to keep the WAN on DCHP but set up internal routing between WAN and LAN in the RUT.

We tried Static routing but does not work.

The goal is to see and connect to the devices (192.168.100.0/24)  if im connected on LAN ports i RUT (the LAN network is 192.168.100.0/24) via WAN network 192.168.1.0/24.

Does your device connected via VPN have a static route? If not, you must specify it. Static routing assumes there are routes on both sides.

Best regards.

Hi,

We have specified the route in for the VPN.

Hello.

Since your WAN receives an IP address from DHCP, the address on it may change and the routing rule will not work. You also need to change the zone forwarding rule, the description is at this link.

Best regards.
