Hi,

Is there a list of external supported USB modems for RUTX routers? I'm wondering whether I can attached a 5G M.2 module Quectel RM500Q-GL via a USB development board to a RUTX11. Will it be recognized by the router? I'm prety sure that at a certain moment in time Teltonika might issue its own 5g router but it would be more economical for customers if we can add a more potent modem to existing routers.

Hello,

Unfortunately, we do not have a list of external USB modems that could be supported by our devices. Mainly because there are countless possible modems. At this moment we have not tested the external 5G modem and cannot confirm that your Qectel RM500Q-GL will be recognized.

RUTX11 does have CAT 6  - Quectel EG06 modem
