Question

RUT950 hotspot.  Can I set it up to not require login?  I tried to connect a chromecast through the hotspot and google home said network login is not supported.  I don't need the users of this device to login.  I set authentication type to free and open network.  No help.

Hello,

It is possible. Please navigate Network > Wireless and create an access point interface without any encryption (or edit the current one (Edit > Wireless Security tab).

After that, please create a Hotspot instance (Services > Hotspot). Make sure that authentication mode is set to "without radius" value.

I was able to do the first part, but there is no "without radius" option for authentication.  See the attached screenshot.
