When first powering up a new Teltonika RUT240, we cannot login via LAN/SSH without using the http GUI to first change the password.

This becomes very expensive on an assembly line, where we would prefer to automate the provisioning via a laptop connected to the LAN connector.

What is the best course of action here? We have implemented a workaround using Selenium Splinter (python wrapper), but would obviously feel better if we knew what is intended for our use case?

THANK YOU

Hello,

Password can be changed with a simple command: passwd

After you enter this command, it will ask you to type a new password two times and you are done.

Regards.

Correct, thank you. Turned out it was our mistake. It was an .ssh/known_hosts issue SOLVED
