I have just installed an RUTXR1 and experiencing some issues with devices that are dependant on mDNS to function.

Can I use the umdns package to resolve this issue or is there another solution that will allow mDNS to function on my device?

Hello,

At this moment, our devices do not support multicast and in this case mDNS. You could try out mDNS packages from OpenWRT but we have not tested them yet ourselves. Multicast is a planned feature for our devices but it is still in the far future.

Is this still the case? If it is, then need to return my RUTX50, it is useless then for me..
