When I connect my RUT240 via SIM card to the internet,  I'll always get a private IP address.

My current mobile network operator is "SALT" (Switzerland) with connection mode: Auto
And my SIM card Auto-APN Property is set to "Active".

Is there any other Parameter available, to give me a pubic IP Address?

Thanks for your support ...

Hello,

Public/Private IP really depends on your plan with the network operator. If your operator allows you to have public IP, they must provide a specific APN that you should use to connect to their network. Once you have this APN, change the AutoAPN parameter to custom, enter the APN phrase and save mobile configuration changes.

Thank you,

meanwhile I was able to get a public IP Address from my provider.

Next I configured a Win10 - RUT240 L2TP over IPsec connection according your descriptions:

https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/Dyn.com_DDNS_configuration
https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUT240_L2TP_over_IPsec_(Windows_10)

but I'm not able to establish the connection, neither with my Windows 10 PC nor with an iPhone VPN Connection.

Both devices tell me, that there is a problem reaching the L2TP service, but no further details.

Are there any log files available that I can search for a detailed problem description?
Or maybe is there a RUT240 standard configuration file available that I can adapt to my login credentials and then load into the device?

Thanks again for any helping hand !

Hello,

You can review logs by navigating System > Administration > Troubleshoot and press download. Another way would be to log in to your router via SSH/CLI and enter a command logread (this will print out all the logs that happened since router started up).

Could you share your configuration screenshots right here too?

Regards.

Hi,
i will send you the settings in a private mail, because I can't see any upload function here inside the forum.

Meanwhile I was able to read the system.log file

Here is the relevant part of my last try to login:

Hi VykintasKuzma,

a few days ago I sent you my configuration via PN, but since then I haven't heard anything from you. My problem is still not solved and my customer is getting nervous.

Do you have any other idea how I can solve the problem?

I appreciate any help!!!

Best  regards

Hello,

Thank you for the reminder. Could you attach screenshots from your PC/mobile phone (details that you enter when you try to connect to LT2P server?

Best regards.
