Hello all,

I have two routers Teltonika RUT240. I have set up GRE tunnel between them and it works. Now I want to connect a computer to the LAN port of the first RUT240 router and to connect additional router to the LAN port of the second RUT240 router. That additional router will have Internet access and it should act as a DHCP server that will give an IP address to the computer connected to the first RUT240 router. In other words, the two RUT240 routers should act\work like a simple cable.

Can it be done and if it can, how?!

Hello,

Unfortunately, that simply cannot be done. Router behind another router that does have GRE tunnel established cannot act as DHCP server to a computer that is behind other GRE endpoint.
