Hello! I have a Teltonika RUT955 LTE  with firmware RUT9XX_R_00.06.07.3

And I really wonder to know how to check the status of the RS-485 port. I've been looking in the FAQ also in the user manual but I cannot see any way of knowing it. The data that comes to my device can not always be viewed. It is very important for me to know whether the port is working or not. Maybe there are logs somewhere? Please help.

Hello,

At this moment there is no direct method to check your RS485 port status. I would suggest trying sending data via RS485 and at the same time opening router SSH terminal and typing logread -f. You should see logs in real-time.

Regards.

Thanks for the hint! I connected to 2 Teltonik's.

1 I receive data from RS-485 to the address 192.168.10.100.

2 I don't get data from RS-485 to the address 192.168.10.100.

I don 't understand these meanings
+CREG: 2,1,"0EF4","45A3A07",7' (29)
 'AT+CREG?' (9)
+QCSQ: "LTE",61,-85,162,-13' (27)

Are these RS-485 values or mobile values?

These are mobile modem values, please ignore them.

It is a pity that there is no direct method. The equipment is far away. But something has become clearer. I'll think about how else I can determine the status of RS-485

Thanks for the help!
