I've been trying to upgrade my RUT950 to v7. As far as I can see, it is not on the list of devices which are not approved for upgrading, however, the upgrade won't complete as I get the error "This device's provisioning doesn't allow it to be upgraded to a firmware version newer than RUT9_R_00.07.00"

How do I install the upgrade? I've tried manually downloading from the web site and attempting to let the router itself update; neither attempts were successful.

Model: RUT950
Firmware: RUT9XX_R_00.06.08.3
Product code: RUT950MO1XXX
Batch: 0046
Hardware revision: 1105

Please check our product changes page: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUT950_Product_Change_Notifications#2019.01.22:_visual_design_changes and tell me, if you do own a device with an upgraded design or an old one? All old devices are called pre-facelift and cannot be upgraded to 7.0

It's a pre-facelift. That explains it.

Thanks for that. It might be helpful linking that page on the firmware update page as well as it doesn't mention that incompatibility.
First Upgrade to latest RUT9XX_R_00.06.08.6_WEBUI.bin and after you will be able to upgrade to RUT9_R_00.07.01.2_WEBUI
