Hi,

I would like to know if there is any way of exporting a plain text full configuration backup from Teltonika routers.

We have to deploy +300 devices, so it become logical to build a template and change manually some specific parameters. Then, upload each configuration to the routers. Making all changes from the web interface is very slow because the loading times between windows and applying configurations are extremely high.

If there is no option to export it, what is the recommended process to do a bulk configuration with some individual configurations?

Model: RUT240

FW ver.: RUT2XX_R_00.01.14.4

Thanks in advance,

Best Regards,

Aaron M.

Hello,

The only possible way to extract router configuration is to generate a backup file via WebUI or SSH (which is tar.gz archive). Once you download the backup, you can upload it to other RUT240's. Note: You can upload configuration backup files to your device if they were generated on an identical device using the same or an older firmware version (backup files created on devices with newer firmware cannot be uploaded to devices using an older firmware version).
