Hey,

my RUT240 isn't able to send any SMS. When I try with Webui / CLI I get a timeout. Even when I send a SMS to reboot (receiving SMS is working, reboot is done) I dont get an answer SMS.

I got the latest FW on it RUT2XX_R_00.01.14.4

When I put the SIM into my mobile phone, I am able to send SMS. 

Any clues?

Hello, 

Kindly try executing this command in CLI: 

"rm /log/log.db" 

then reboot your router that should solve your issue :)

 Hi, 

First of all, kindly make sure that the sim card is having an SMS package and try to test it using your mobile phone if everything is working fine. Try to execute the command again and check. 

The syntax should be like this:



If the issue still persists kindly share with me a copy of the troubleshoot file of your RUT240. 

Kindly let me know the results.

Hey Mellow,

I did it exactly like this and the SIM is able to send SMS, tested it with my mobile =)

Will send you the Troubleshoot file!

And I detected another error: sometimes, when I reboot the Router, its not coming online again. So I have to send a reboot SMS, sometimes twice, to get him back online
