According to the docs RUT955 hardware revison 1 devices (RUT955 *7V***)  are no longer supported by firmware 7.00 and above. However, my device lists firmware 7.00.2 on the upgrade page.

Assuming that the documentation is correct, can you check on the server side if the device requesting an update is hw revision 1 in order to return the latest 6.xx firmware?

Also, it would be nice if you could enhance the documentation to give a short reason as to why hardware revision 1 is no longer supported.

Is there a way to replace hw revision 1 with hw revision 2?

Thanks

Hello,

We are aware that the legacy devices that do not support the latest 7.0 release are able to see it in the firmware update window. Thank you for your input and we will figure it out with future legacy updates.

Legacy devices cannot update to the latest version due to hardware differences, I will check if we can elaborate on that.

Also, we do not replace old devices as they are working perfectly with legacy firmwares.

Regards.
