Hello,
I have linked a RUT240 with firmware version RUT2XX_R_00.01.14.4 to RMS.

When I use the RMS (with the administrator role) after selecting the device, when I click on:
Device > Configuration > Configure device(s)

I get the message:
"No fields to configure".

Is this normal? Shouldn't I be able to activate the WLAN or perform any other operation via this contextual menu?
Do i need to setup something anywhere to make it work ? The wiki doesn't say something about it:
https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RMS_Configuration_menu

( i've already tried to delete and recreate the device on the RMS)
Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello,

Thank you for contacting us.
I would like to inform, that this function are under development to be used with firmware 14.4 version and will be available at the near future.
Could you provide a more information, what you would like to configure using this function?

Best regards,

Sigitas

Hello Sigitas,

Thanks for your answer.
The first thing i can think of for this feature is to be able to turn the WLAN on and off on demand to allow local access for on-site customers or technicians. This is to avoid the WLAN being permanently active and easier to activate or disable than entering via the full webadmin. But maybe this is more a thing for the "action" context menu than configure.

Best regards.

Hello,

Thank you for a quick reply.
Configure device function are limited and will not let you to control device WLAN.
In order to control one or another device function you could use Task Manager or API.
More detailed information about control using API could be found in this link:

Hope it helps.
