Question

I see others have this problem with other RUT devices but no solutions have been given. This is a new RUT240, latest firmware update, in the factory case. Every 8-30 hours it will randomly reset itself to factory default settings, requiring a site visit to again reconfigure it. It seems to stay on, but just reverts back to default settings, which disconnects all the connected devices. There has been no power outages, and no network outages to my knowledge.

It's done this on my desk and on the windowsill in another room.

Please try resetting your device through bootloader menu method, instructions could be found here: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/Bootloader_menu

You might also want to check if your device isn't exposed to any outside electrical current (so basically check if your device case is intact and that every screw is tight).

If nothing is found - you might as well return the device to the reseller as it could be hardware faulty.
