Hi,

I am trying to test fail cases with my RUT. It seems that the device cannot recover by itself to the SIM card being taken out and put back in.

The Mobile status reads that it is disconnected even after a while after the SIM has been put back in.

A power cycle fixes this, but should the device recover mobile connection in this case?

Firmware RUT9XX R 00.06.00.2

Thank you

Hi,

If you physical take the SIM out and put back in, then the modem needs to be restarted.

P.S To restart the modem Status -> Network -> Restart Modem

If on the other hand, you have two SIM configured with SIM switching and decide take one out to act other as failover, then it will work, but it's not recommended course of action.
