Hi, have upgraded my RUT950 to latest version 7 firmware but after upgrade the mobile modem stops working,

in the status it just says no sim inserted, the signal lights are all off as well,

If I downgrade to version 6 with bootloader the modem works again and the signal status lights work again

I have tried factory resetting

Everytime I upgrade to version 7 - mobile data stops working

Have attached troubleshoot as I seen another user having the same issue as me earlier this year,

Update, so downgrading the firmware didnt help, mobile connectivity is hit and miss sometimes works for a few seconds then stops all together, have tried rolling back to earlier versions of firmware but still not working,

Seems I have completely messed up this router by upgrading the firmware !!!

Have spent nearly 2days trying to fix and no joy and have ordered a new RUT950 :-(

Yeah, worst thing I did was upgrade the firmware, seems my device is beyond repair and I've spent far to much time trying to resolve.

I cant understand why Teltonika allow a firmware to be installed that can cause so much trouble.

I today received a new RUT950 that I purchased to get me out of the problem, I tried firmware version 7.0 and rolled back to version 6

version 7 seems to be so intermittent, struggled to connect wireless wan and also no clear feedback as to which WAN is in use.

Think I'll hold off version 7 for a few months until its ready

Thank you for the query. If you could, please send me a troubleshoot file via private message when the modem/SIM card isn't functioning. Any problem regarding the loss of modem/SIM not found is known and has already been passed on to our RnD department. The issue is currently being investigated but we'll always appreciate more help and information. As soon as there's any news regarding this issue, we'll make sure to let everyone know!

What's a troubleshoot file and how to download it:

A Troubleshoot file contains a device's event logs, configuration files and other info useful for diagnostics. It can be downloaded from your device's WebUI, Troubleshoot page:

System → Administration → Troubleshoot

Hello,

A new firmware 07.01.2 is officially out. Please update to the newest version via web UI (from server) or download it and update it from file. You can find firmware for the devices here:
