I have just bought 7 x RUT950's for our air monitoring network and want to use RMS for remote monitoring. I have the 1 month free credit still live on RMS. I have previously successfully enabled and connected routers to RMS. I have read all the FAQ's and wiki and YT videos. My router is connected and working but I cannot connect it to RMS.

I have added the device using the add device wizard and used the correct LAN MAC and Serial number found on the device. I think there is a problem with the Web UI (RMS section)  not displaying the correct Serial Number (blank) and the LAN MAC FF:FF:FF:FF:FF:FF that is causing the device not to connect to RMS. I am using V. 6 firmware and have had to factory reboot the router so perhaps it has lost serial number and LAN MAC from web ui. Please advise on how to restore or otherwise reconnect this device to RMS.

Thanks in advance

S

Hello,

Factory reset should not impact LAN MAC or serial number values unless something goes seriously wrong during the process. Could you please try to reinstall the firmware via the Bootloader menu? Instructions on how to do it can be found here: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUT9xx_Firmware_via_The_Bootloader_Menu

Additionally, could you please navigate to System>Administration>RMS and send me a screenshot of the web UI via private message?

Best regards,

Tomas.

SOLVED - Teltonika were able to remote into the router and re configure so that the LAN MAC and Serial number were reinstated. This enabled connection to RMS
