Here is my situation: I have a nicely running multi-node network which I am quite happy with. Then I come across this WiFi device that can only be assigned an address in the the 192.168.x.x range as well as not supporting the use of a router, meaning that anything trying to access it must be on the same subnet.
Does anyone have a creative solution to making this device accessible, maybe with a NAT setup so it appears to the rest of the network as a routable IP in my existing range?
In addition, how can I provide a WiFi AP for this device, using its supported IP range, while also providing WiFi for regular clients on a different subnet?
Thanks for all your ideas!
