VPN not working on RUTX09 - routing issues?

Hi, I Cant get a VPN up and running in a RUTX09. I've got about 25 RUT950 routers running with no problem whatsoever.

When i compare the firewall settings i see a lot of difference between the RUTX09 and the old RUT950

This is where it goes wrong. New or old firmware doesn't help either.

suggestions on what to do?

The actual firmware at this point is RUTX_R_00.02.03.4

In the meantime i upgraded to RUTX_R_00.07.00

No difference...

Please try to reflash your firmware without keep the setting and then follow the instructions below for IPSEC tunnel.

Added 2 JPG files to illustrate the differences in Firewall settings. Both VPNs are configured exact the same.

I think it has to do with the lack of zones in the RUT09X

Can someone tell me how to deal with this?

Internet and 4G works like a charm; just cant get thr IPSEC VPN up and running

Kindly be informed that RUTX09 supports multiple VPN protocols OpenVpn / GRE / IPSEC / PPTP / L2TP / SSTP / Stunnel / DMVPN / ZeroTier / WireGuard

Can you please determine which type of vpn you want to use?

Hi

We make use of IPSec VPN to connect with an Fortigate 200E

On our RUT950 the are up and running in 5 minutes. I see a lot of difference in the firewall section. On the RUTX09 i seem to miss a lot of zones. That could explain a lot.

Am i missing someting or is my router defecrtive? What to do to implemet a complete new config?
