Some fact about the setup

RUT950 with latest firmware 07.01.1

VPN supplier is Integrity

Some changes have ben made from the original setup. As im currently are at a hotel i have forced the router to have same mac asmy pc as that is required on a login page.

Im using integritys own script for login, which i attach.

It is working so far that im able to get connected and will also be assigned an IP. So based on status all looks ok

My problem is that as soon as i enable VPN i loose the internet connection, so i can suspect that there is something with the route/firewall as everything is working perfect as long as VPN is not enabled. I have tried with changing in the traffic rules in the firewall, as the script use port 1198 instead of the default 1194. Nothing else is changed.

Hi,

Pleas can you clarify the below points to better understand the scenario ?

Firstly, would suggest to refer these two links which are quite similar to what you are trying to setup:

https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUT950_L2TP_over_IPsec_(Windows_10)
http://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/wikibase/index.php?title=OpenVPN_client_on_Windows&mobileaction=toggle_view_desktop

1> A brief topology to understand your connectivity and VPN client - server ?

3> It is working so far that i am able to get connected and will also be assigned an IP. So based on status all looks ok --- This statement means that you are able to get a dhcp ip from the RUT and access internet fine and only when you initiate "integrity" vpn the internet access goes off ?

Before and after connecting to the VPN, open command prompt and run the command "route print" to see the difference in gateways.

Before and after connecting to the VPN, open command prompt and run the command "nslookup google.com" - check if it resolves ?

Before and after connecting to the VPN, open command prompt and run the command "tracert google.com"  - check the path ?

You have also specified that there is a custom script from Integrity vpn being used, check if it is causing split tunneling and DNS changes, default remote access gateway  ?

 Thanks
