Hello Everyone,

Sorry for my english.

After upgrade RUT955 firmware to RUT9_R_00.07.00.2 SNMP not working, because there is no snmpd daemon in the new system.

opkg install snmpd

Installing snmpd (5.8-2) to root...

Downloading http://opkg.teltonika-networks.com/29a77a45385fb7747f4c8eb7cbf35f0171fb451979a1d7fa6a95c5d79851202e/snmpd_5.8-2_mips_24kc.ipk

Collected errors:

 * satisfy_dependencies_for: Cannot satisfy the following dependencies for snmpd:

 * libnl-tiny1

 * opkg_install_cmd: Cannot install package snmpd.

root@Teltonika-RUT955:~#

opkg update:
Collected errors:
 * opkg_download: Failed to download http://downloads.openwrt.org/releases/19.07.7/packages/mips_24kc/vuci/Packages.gz, wget returned 8.

Was vuci the part of the original repo ever?

Hello,

The issue can be solved by manually uploading SNMP package via package manager in router WebUI.

Download the packages compatible with RUT955 from: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUT955_Package_Downloads#Latest_Packages_.28from_07.00.29 and download the zip file via download link.

In the .zip file you will find SNMP.gz file, extract it from the archive, then go to router WebUI and navigate to  Services -> Package manager -> Upload. Click browse and select the SNMP.gz file. Click open, then Proceed and the package will be successfully installed.

Alternatively you can download the newest FW version that came out today and this version has no such issues. Download link: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUT955_Firmware_Downloads
