Hello,

As strace doesn't come from a feed, the package has to be manually added to package/devel (ie copied from another OpenWRT build tree).

Hi, RUT OS SDK only includes the package where Teltonika services need, customers can always manually add the packages for their needs.

Sure, but what is missing is the package/devel/strace folder and of course all its contents, not about enabling a feature via make menuconfig nor adding it with a ./scripts/feeds install strace which doesn't exist.

Hi,

Are you able to compile the firmware on default setting without adding the Strace package into the SDK?

Yes it compiles but doesn't include strace ...

Hi

Yes, there is no Strace package in the SDK as it's not required in RUT OS by default. Customers can add the package from other source to compile the firmware for their needs.

strace is a basic tool, it was present in previous versions of the SDK.

Hi, some packages have been and may be removed during the further development of SDKs, please feel free to use the previous SDK or manually add that packages you need to compile the firmware if you like to.
