Hello,

here it is told that there is one digital input and one digital output pin in the power connector:

But from the rest of the page it seems that those pins can't be read or written.

I don't have a RUT955 yet so I can't test myself (if the page is out of date).

Can you confirm that it is not (and will not be) possible to use those pins?

RUT955 seems suitable for our application otherwise but we would need those extra I/O pins.

Hi,

I/O in power connector is still on development (from software side) and should appear in nearest firmware releases.

This feature is in routers with codes  RUT955 *03**0 .

We currently have one RUT950, will this firmware change also apply to it?

Yes, RUT950 (with codes: RUT950 *02**0 )also will have such feature.

Hello again,

testing the I/O pins at RUT955 power connector, with current firmware...

With gpio.sh I can control the output pin (DOUT4P). So that one already seems to be supported.

But none of the pins reflect the input pin state. (Also tried directly reading all exported gpio pins values under /sys/class/gpio, to no avail.)

While waiting for the new firmware release, is there a "trick", can I somehow export the input pin myself for testing purposes?
