Hi,

what is the input voltage range of I/O pin number 1 (digital input pin) of RUT955 I/O ? It says that it is only for passive sensors. Can I connect 12VDC? If voltage is zero then it becomes open circuit. If I apply any voltage then it will be short circuit right?

Hello,

If you want the digital output value to change on voltage applied you would need to use pins 2(positive) and 7(ground).

Pin 1 as it states is used for passive sensor output which is high when the pins are shorted, basically just wires touching.

More information can be found in our wiki: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUT955_Input/Output#Status
