Hello,

Thank you for your query.

Firstly, I would like to check is this your first time connecting to the device or it suddenly stopped working?

In general, I would recommend to try reinstalling router's firmware through bootloader's menu. Here are detailed step-by-step instructions how to do it:

  • First of all, please set static IP address on your network interface (e.g. 192.168.1.10)
  • Use private/incognito Web browsers window with cleared/disabled cache
  • Power on the device while holding reset button. Flashing all 4 Ethernet LEDs indicates that bootloader’s webserver has started.
  • Access router via web browser http://192.168.1.1/index.html
  • Upload new router's firmware " RUTX_R_00.07.01.2.bin". It can be downloaded from here: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUTX09_Firmware_Downloads
  • Wait few minutes. Router's LEDs should stop flashing. Only LED with LAN cable connected to that port should be active.
  • Access router via web browser http://192.168.1.1

Detailed instructions can be found here: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUTXxx_Firmware_via_The_Bootloader_Menu

Note: Also, it might be worth checking your Network settings. Hit Windows key and type cmd. type ipconfig, check if an ip address has been issued on the adapter:

If not, please try setting a static ip address on your machine:

https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/Setting_up_a_Static_IP_address_on_a_Windows_10_PC

After the reset, the routers address should be 192.168.1.1.

So set Pc IP address as 192.168.1.2 and the gateway as 192.168.1.1

Best Regards,

Hello,

In this particular case it means that the boot-loader menu is inaccessible.

I am sorry to say this, but it is kind of a last resort that we use to get device up and running. If that is inaccessible, I believe the only option left would be to contact the supplier/reseller of the device and to request to return it as a possibly faulty device.

If you have bought it directly from Teltonika Networks office, then you could contact your Sales Manager as well requesting for RMA(return merchandise authorization) if the warranty is still valid.

More info in RMA: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RMA

Best Regards,
