Hi,

i'm looking at a solution using a RUT240, where we will use wifi primarily and fallback to mobile communication.

What would be the recommended combo antenna to use:

- PR1KCS28, connecting 1 wifi and 1 LTE and leaving GNSS unconnected

- PR1KCO28, connecting 1 wifi and 2 LTE and leaving GNSS and the other wifi unconnected

- or any other suggestions?

Regards

Jakob

Hello,

From the antenna you asking about I gather that the antennas will be use on a vehicle on the outside. If my guess is correct, then I would suggest using PR1KCS28 antenna if you don’t need the maximum data throughput while not connected to a WiFi connection, since the auxiliary antenna’s purpose is just that. The main antenna of RUT240 would be the one furthest from the WiFi antenna. You can find the illustration of antennas on the pamphlet inside the box or our wiki page: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUT240_First_Start#Back_view

Or you can try and look for 3rd party solutions, you just have to make sure they are within the specification provided in this wiki page: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/Third-party_Antennas

Hello Paulius,

thank you for your reply.

It is an indoor application in a production environment, but anyway, I will go for the PR1KCS28 as you suggest.
