Hello,

Would you please help to let me know how to wire a push button as a digital input (D1) ? I have set pin-D1 as digital input.

I have wireed the +9V of the power supply to + pin; and 0V of the power supply to - pin.

How to wire a push button as digital input to D1 pin?

Do I need to link the GND pin to the - pin with a wire?

Hello,

Button Configuration Example. 

In the following, example will be provided how to connect the button to the router in order to change Digital Input status. Such example, could be used as a panic button scenario, where the router will send SMS/Email message to recipients with predefined message once the button is pressed.
