Hi,

I recently got the RUTX14 but I cannot connect to it (it's a brand new device).

The Power led light is on and the LAN led lights keep flashing every few seconds. Once I connect an ETH cable, the led light on the port stays on (actually only the one in the right, indicating IP mismatch (?)) for a few seconds until all the LAN led lights start flashing again (approx every 5-6 sec). Also, the WiFi network is not there so I cannot access the GUI.  

I tried to reset, but nothing seemed to change and I was wondering if there's another way to access GUI (e.g. via USB or BT ?)

Hello,

Please try reinstalling the software via Bootloader menu. You can find instructions on how to do that here:

Thanks for your prompt response.

I had tried that (maybe it wasn't clear mentioning that I tried to reset it). Is there a way to connect via BT or the usb? If not I could return the device as faulty.

Hi,

Thank you for a reply.
Unfortunately there are no way how to access device using BT or USB.
Like you mentioned, device could be faulty and reseller with start an RMA for you.
