Hello. I use a RUTX09 with two Bouygues Telecom SIM cards and everything works fine, but I have abnormally high Internet consumption when I do not download or play NETFLIX type video. I found the tools for global network and WLAN analysis fine, but I can't find how to analyze the 4G consumption for each device that accesses the Internet to determine which device or devices are consuming a lot. Thanks for your help.

Hello,

Thanks for contacting TELTONIKA | Crowd-support forum.

Kindly be informed that vnstat is a console-based network traffic monitor for Linux and BSD that keeps a log of network traffic for the selected interface(s).

More information can be found here:

https://openwrt.org/docs/guide-user/services/network_monitoring/vnstat

Please note that vnstat a third-party opkg package.

On the other hand, our devices support many features that can help administrators for control their end devices such as Web Filter, Speed Limit, Mobile Data Limit.

Web Filter is always used when Administrators want to block access to specific websites.

More information can be found here:

https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUTX09_Web_Filter

Speed Limit, you can limit the download and upload speeds for different interface on your device with the help of the Quality of service (QoS) feature.

More information can be found here:

https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/Speed_Limit

Mobile Data Limit provides you the possibility to set data usage limits for your mobile network interfaces and data usage warnings via SMS message in order to protect yourself from unwanted data charges.

More information can be found here:

https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUTX09_Interfaces#Mobile_Data_Limit

In addition, if you are using a device equipped with Wi-Fi such as RUT950, RUTX10, RUTX11, RUTX12, RUTXR1…, you can check status and session statistics of currently logged in users using HOTSPOT service.
