I have issues with a RUTXR1 with RUTX_R_00.07.01.2 firmware.

Device is set up with default configuration and "advanced mode"
Firewall rule is added for tcp:21101
RS232 with Serial over IP is enabled
WAN IP is allowed
IP and port is allowed from any hosts in WAN

In Status -> Realtime data -> Connections I can see the connection from remote server to the mobile IP, but it seems like it is not let trough by the firewall when WAN interface is running.

As soon as WAN interface is down, I can send successfully send data to mobileip:21101, or when MOB1S1A1 have the highest gateway metric.

Is it possible to have both interfaces replying on incoming data?

Hi,

If you need both WAN interfaces to be active at the same time, you need to activate the Load Balancing service via Web Ui Network > Failover page;

I have tested, and yes, both interfaces can be reached from outside when load-balancing policy is active.

But it seems like internet traffic is using both interfaces to the internet now. How can I force all traffic to use only WAN interface, when load-balancing is activated?

I have to get this solved because my IPSec VPN connection must be connected from WAN interface.

I think you will find this instruction useful: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUTXR1_Firewall#Traffic_Rules

Using Firewall zones or traffic rules you can block or open ports, allow or disable certain traffic, and more.
