MQTT Gateway configuration works well. We developed an integration with our meta-gate which uses RUT240 and TRB145 as 'passive dataloggers'. Some improvements are anyway suggested:

  • We register a random reconnect every 60s lag (see log below); out broker and LAN are stable, so maybe something in rut240 (see attached log.txt -- our broker maps reconnects as 'join')
  • Would be a good idea implement SSL certificates in this function. Currently Works only in 'plain mode' mqtt on port 1883

Thank you for suggestions, Currently MQTT Gateway and MODBUS is being revamped and your inputs will be conveyed to the R&D Team.

Can you please check if any settings are toggled on with regards to Keep alive or Persistent connection, as it seems that the RUT is trying to connect after termination.

Thank you for response, but I didn't find any keepalive or similar setting in mqtt modbus gateway function.

This is with regards to the meta-gate and not the RUT right ? Thank you for the input and i will test and revert back.
