Hey,

When I want to set static lease on my TRB140 to assign a fixed unchangeable ip address to a device it happens that it always assigns a totally different ip address to this device for reasons unknown to me.

What could be the reason for this?

1.picture DHCP settings.

2.picture What actually happens with it

Remark:

*the MC address is correct. i have checked it 1000 times.

*Firmware is TRB1_R_00.07.01.2 and I don't want to change it because then all the ovpn stuff won't work.

*I have several TRB140 with the same setup and same firmware, there works DHCP lease Reliably

Hello,

Can you please share some screenshots of your configuration? Also, you could try connecting the device to another of the TRB140 to discard any issue with the device itself or its configuration.

To configure a static lease, you can go to webUI Network > Interfaces > Edit > Static Lease and fill the MAC and IP address, as you can see on the wiki page:
