Question

We want to use TRB gateways (TRB 145 or TRB255) to write Modbus registers via Rs 485 on a slave device (read slave device as PLC). The Modbus function code shall be 05 and 16. The TRB shall act as Modbus master. Is that possible on TRB series gateway? Most of the tutorials are around sending the data from gateway to server. So, I wanted to check if bidirectional communication is also possible with the gateways.

Sorry for the delay, TRB145 and TRB 255 can work as MODBUS serial master. You can check the RS485 serial interface configuration on the following wikipage. You can also verify the Slave Device and Request configuration.
