Hi Team,

I would like to send data from devices in LAN to outside network. Could you tell which which feature we need to use from teltonika router so that devices from internal network can send or receive messages to devices of outside network? Also our router has enabled 4g sim. We would like to send data without any internet pack.

Your feedback will be appreciated.

Hello.

Is not quite clear for me what is exact topology you need, what kind of data do you need to send and what kind of devices you have behind the RUT LAN.

In any case, the more flexible solution is to use any kind of VPN in the RUT device and at the same time in the Extenal device.

The easiest VPN we have is RMS_VPN

With this you can connect to remote devices as if they were next to each other.

Apart from RMS_VPN you have other multiple free VPN protocols you could use, but those are way more complex to implement for inexpert hands.

Hi I have a router RUT950 whose IP is 192.168.1.1 that is connected to PC1(192.168.1.104) on wired LAN. I have another system PC2(103.23.45.2) outside the network or in public domain. 4G sim is enabled in router and 4G dongle is attached to PC2. I would like to send messages like TCP or ICMp from PC1 to PC2 or vice versa using 4G. As PC2 is outside the network, we are not able to send data from PC1. Also we don't want to use internet access here for sending data. Is it possible that data will be transmitted from PC1 to PC2 using 4G sim without internet access? BR Deepa

Hello.

Yes is totally possible but only if you have a sim card with private APN and if PC2 is inside such private APN network.

Otherwise, you will need internet access to be able to mount an OpenVPN service between RUT950 and PC2

Hi

We are able to send messages from PC2(from external network) to PC1 on LAN by creating VPN hub. But we can't send messages from PC1 to PC2. Is there a different setting for that?

Also If we want to connect both the systems PC1 and PC2 via cellular network 4G to RUT950. Is that possible? Both the devices will have 4G dongle and router is located somewhere else? Is this scenario possible?

Hello.

Here is one example on how to communicate both end PC1 and PC2 via IPsec

Also there is the possibility to use a very easy solution from Teltonika which is RMS_VPN based on OpenVPN.

With any of this two services you can interconnect both PC1 and PC2
