Hi,

USB to serial connection. Serial type: over IP, server mode.

Communication cannot be established after changing the connected device to another device. The solution is to disable and re-enable the interface from the GUI.

1. How can I do this operation from ssh?

2. Do you know any other solution to automatically rebuild the interface after changing the device?

Model: RUT955

Firmware: RUT9_R_00.07.01.4

Thank you for your help.

Hello,

About the first question, to restart the interface you can use the CLI command “/etc/init.d/rs232_usb restart”.

About the second question, you could create a script to help you execute the previous command when it detects a change on the connected device.
