Hello,

I have RUT955 - There is one LAN - 192.168.1.x (no DHCP) and one guestLan - 192.168.50.x (DHCP)- GuestLan is used for Wifi interface, so it means only mobile devices can connect guestLan. I need to acces LAN device (192.168.1.10) from GuestLan via IP 192.168.50.10. But I´m not able to set it up.

I made port forwarding rule, zone forwarding open from lan to guestlan and opposite. But still nothing.

Do you somebody have some advice ?

Thank you very much

For specify. I must connect to device via 192.168.50.10 and this device have physically set ip 192.168.1.10. So when I type ping 192.168.50.10 I need to ping device 192.168.1.10

Thank you

Hello,

You just need to add lan zone to inter-zone forwarding for your Guestlan zone. To do that, please follow the steps that are located in this link:

All configuration is correct, and everything works properly.

I connected my PC to LAN network (192.168.1.0/24) and my mobile to Guest WiFi network (APP_AP 192.168.50.0/24), and I tried to ping from my PC (192.168.1.50) to my mobile (192.168.50.240) and it worked! (ping worked from my mobile to my PC as well).

Note: you disabled DHCP service on LAN interface, so make sure that the device connected to LAN network has a correct IP and gateway.

It´s wierd. Now I connect another device with 192.168.1.x and from notebook with IP 192.168.50.184 I can´t ping it. I know that abou DHCP.

EDIT

Actually, there is maybe misunderstanding. I can reach IP 192.168.1.10 from 192.168.50.184. But I need ping exactly 192.168.50.10 to reach 192.168.1.10

Kindly check the gateway or the default-route of this device (IP 192.168.50.10) and you may share the routing table (for this device and RUT955) with me.

Actually, there is no device with 192.168.50.10. There is only device with 192.168.1.10, but I want reach this device via IP 192.168.50.10. I mean when I type: ping 192.168.50.10 I must ping 192.168.1.10.

This device is PLC so I don´t think there some way how to make default rote
