Hello,

I have a router RUT955. I have inserted a SIM card in SIM1 and can now access the internet with my connected computer.

I would like to reach my device from another network, but I don't know how to assign myself a global IP (which doesn't have to be static, I just don't have a global IP at all).

I will upload pictures with the current settings afterwards.

Can you give me some instructions on what I need to do to get a global IP assigned?

I now have the version RUT9_R_00.07.01.4. I had previously tried two older versions, RUT9XX_R_00.06.08.6 and I mean previously I had RUT9_R_00.07.01.2, but had problems setting up my sim card.

greetings

From other networks I get my public IP from here ...

Hi,

IP assignment relies on your network operator. If you requested a public/global address from your operator, it will be automatically assigned to the device.

It may happen that your operator sets a custom APN for this scenario, if this is the case you must disable the Auto APN option, type custom APN provided to you and save mobile configuration changes.

thank you for your fast reply! You are right. I noticed that yesterday too. I assumed that I would automatically get a non-static IP. Unfortunately, this is not the case with my Sim contract. Thank you for your feedback!
